 ![Ecologi – helping a climate positive workforce](https://www.byintention.fcswebsites.co.uk/user/media/ecologi-climate-positive-workforce.jpg)

I’ve signed up to a monthly plan with [Ecologi](https://ecologi.com/) to help Intention become a climate positive business. Along with selling my car and doing more local shopping, this is a great way for me to improve my environmental impact.

## What do Ecologi do?

For a small monthly subscription, Ecologi plant a minimum of 12 trees per employee every month in Madagascar, Mozambique and Nicaragua. This covers our personal carbon footprint and they go into more detail on their [blog.](https://ecologi.com/articles/product/carbon-footprinting-at-ecologi) Their climate projects include renewable energy generation, forest protection, and community initiatives such as providing access to clean water.

All plans get a profile page showing how many trees we’ve planted and our total carbon offset, and for business plans they give us a widget that we can add to our websites showing how many trees we’ve planted (scroll down to see mine!)

## How easy is it?

I was up and running in five minutes, and support were really helpful when I upgraded to a business plan after clicking the wrong option. They seem transparent and personable from their website and press kit too, with all the tree planting info and financials clearly available.

## Ready to get planting?

If you’d like to get started, you can use [this referral link](https://ecologi.com/intention?r=6093c9c96336a6b7b6726ddb) and we’ll both get some free trees in our forests
